Assistance with legal questions about property transfer

I have an MVE home with a resale guarantee within 3 months. I have set the transfer date with the housing corporation on August 18th. Today I am called by the notary that the 18th is not feasible because the housing corporation has submitted a request today and that it will take approximately 10-11 days before my bank (mortgage) delivers my documents to the notary. So the transfer can take place on August 23rd at the earliest. Now it is the case that I have cancelled everything as of the 18th, such as my insurance, parking permit, etc. It is also the case that I have to continue paying my mortgage for 5 days. The housing corporation wants to accommodate me with extra days for my mortgage and homeowners' association. They are going to pay the 5 days. They have admitted negligence. However, I would like to know whether I can recover a fine from them because the transfer is late and that they did not contact me BUT the notary informed me of this. Does the 10% fine also apply here? I'd love to hear from you. Thank you in advanceLawyer
I don't know the clause in the contract. But it seems to me that the penalty clause applies if the transaction of purchase and sale does not go through at all.Neem de volgende stap
