I also have my trailer stabled at a professional stable where my horse is kept. I pay 10 euros per month to store the trailer. According to the regulations, the owner says he is not responsible for damage to my trailer. Now, I and a number of other fellow customers have had their trailer tires punctured. Can we recover these damages from the owner? We have all filed a report with the police, but they cannot help us any further.

Did you receive a copy of the relevant regulations when you entered into a (storage) agreement? Have you informed your own insurance company? After reviewing the regulations, I can advise you.

After re-reading the conditions, it appears that everything relates to the stabling of the horse. There is no mention of the deductible for stabling the trailer. The insurance company has been informed but will not reimburse the damage because the trailer is not separately insured by us.

Apparently the stable owner does not have separate insurance either. In principle, this does not make him liable for damages.
