Nuisance from neighbors? Discover your rights

We have a staggered house, the front of our house is approximately 1 meter further forward is the neighbor's house. Now our neighbours have a painting company and he also replaces windows etc. Because of this, (broken) windows are constantly being placed against that piece of 1 meter of our side facade on their own side, but it is our side facade. These (broken) windows are placed there by a company that brings them and sometimes takes a few away again. But usually there are a lot of heavy and broken glasses against the side of our facade and they are around the corner in such a way that they are very visible from our garden and driveway. The glasses are also very high. It regularly happens that the glasses shift and then it makes such a noise that it sounds like someone is falling down the stairs. We also think that the wall can be damaged by all the weight (the wall has just been re-inserted by a company that we commissioned to do our entire facade) and that small piece has also been taken away. So it is about the view from our garden and driveway to these ugly broken glasses and also about the possible damage to the side of our facade that lies on the neighbours' land. We suspect that we can't do anything about it, but we would like to know how it is arranged in the Civil Code regarding this issue. Can you give us clarity on this? We would like to hear from you. Thank you in advance!

The fact is that neighbours may not cause any nuisance and/or inconvenience and certainly not cause any damage. I advise you to first determine whether there is any damage. You can then talk to your neighbours. They may not realise that they are causing you a nuisance or inconvenience. My experience shows that an honest and open conversation can help. If this is not the case, a situation of legal facts arises. The main rule is that you as the owner of a private wall do not have to allow your neighbour to use it.

We have already mentioned this several times to our neighbours and also to the company that delivers and collects the glasses. They do not even listen to us and only say: 'They are only glasses' and otherwise they keep quiet. We cannot do anything about that. Now, following the fact that we were at their front door yesterday, our neighbours have 'wrapped' the glasses in a kind of cloth at the end of the day and placed them against their own front facade. We think that is fine. We had told them at their door that the broken glasses are very visible when we come up our driveway, and our visitors have also seen this. The neighbour said: 'I don't think so' to our message that the glasses are very visible at our place. We fear that if the Asser Verfhandel comes by again to deliver new glasses and collect (part of) the old ones and no one is at home at the neighbours, the glasses will be placed against our side facade again and in our view. This has happened many times before and we have discussed it with them regularly, but they do not respond to it at all. We are now thinking about planting a conifer in that spot in our garden and in front of the broken glass. Then we will also lose the view of the broken glass. We also have photos of the situation in question. How can we put the photos on this website? Is that possible?
