We cancelled an unused subscription by phone last September. Last week we received a call from a debt collection agency that we had to pay immediately to avoid being summoned. We paid that amount to avoid problems. We have moved in the meantime and immediately after that payment we went to our old address to see if there were any invoices that had been delivered there. There were none, only 2 reminders. After telephone contact it was claimed that we had not cancelled, after all no confirmation was ever sent to us or received. It was also claimed that we had received the new package last March. That was not there either. So in my opinion an amount is being claimed for a product that has not been delivered, but despite that I am afraid that without that confirmation I have no leg to stand on to get my money back. The lady promised us by email that we would be contacted this evening, but we have not heard anything yet. By the way, I have now cancelled the subscription again and we now have confirmation of this. Is there any way we can get our money back and if so, how?

Dear Sonja, It came as quite a shock to us that we would be summoned and I felt quite pressured, so we paid immediately. The collection agency was Call 2 Collect from Amsterdam, which is known by the phone number. The company that gave the order is Hotelbon.nl The point is that we paid 100 euros but we have never received an invoice. The annual pass that we have now paid for is also still missing. We were under the impression that we had cancelled the hotel voucher 1.5 years ago. So we do not expect an annual pass or an invoice. Unfortunately I have no proof that it was cancelled. But because an invoice was never sent, I did not know that anything had to be paid, which is of course strange in itself. We also never received an annual pass. So I have now paid 100 euros but I have no invoice for this and no product either. I called hotelbon.nl several times, eventually we were called back and we would still receive an annual pass. We indicated that we did not need that annual pass because we were under the impression that we had cancelled it. And therefore preferred our money back. The manager of this person would call us back the following week, which would be in week 31. However, we have not been called to date, last week I sent an email about this to hotelbon in the hope that they would contact us, that did not happen either. I would like this resolved, our preference is that the amount of €100.43 is transferred back to us. Especially after how this all went down, we obviously don't want anything to do with hotel vouchers anymore, so an annual pass will also end up in the trash with us. Can you help us with this?
