My ex-husband wants to make new agreements with me that deviate from the agreements in the covenant. To what extent am I obliged to cooperate with this?

It can sometimes be wise to adjust agreements in a covenant if the circumstances have changed. But that should be something of mutual consultation and certainly not disadvantageous for 1 party.
