Legal assistance with hidden camper defects

Dear, I recently bought a camper from a very friendly and trustworthy looking seller via a marketplace, but what turned out?.. I paid €5000,- for the camper, looked neat at first sight, the seller informed me that the fridge in the camper did not work anymore. I did not find this a big problem and accepted this. After the first downpour I discovered that there was a serious leak and the roof was rotten, this was not visible at first glance due to a piece of vinyl that was stapled over the roof on the inside. Brought to the garage and it turned out that the water pump and the gearbox were also a problem and that I would certainly have to pay € 1500,- to be able to go on the road. My garage also indicated that the previous owner must have been aware of these problems, and that I was too naive with my trust in the seller. I called the seller to ask him to meet me halfway by refunding part of the sales amount. I would still feel 'screwed' but would be satisfied with €1000,-. The seller indicated that he wanted to meet me halfway with €150,-, but this seems to me to be a ridiculous amount. The camper has not even been transferred to my name yet as the problems came to light before I had the chance! My question now is, what are my rights in this case? Can I cancel the purchase or demand better compensation? Because this seems to me to be a clear case of hidden defects. the seller has a duty to report any defects in the camper, while you have a duty to investigate that goes quite far depending on the year of manufacture, condition and price of the camper. It seems very likely that the seller did not inform you sufficiently, which means you can put him in default to still remedy the defects. Termination is possible afterwards.
