Legal advice on swimming lesson rates

Questioner

The swimming pool where our kids are taking swimming lessons will soon be switching to a new swimming system with different rates. For example, the rate for swimming ability 1 will go from 57 euros for 2 months to 47 euros per month. Question 1: is this just possible? I can imagine that this could apply to a new student, but is it also possible for someone who has been taking lessons for a longer period of time? Question 2: we are no longer allowed to use the lessons that are still on the card (which we paid for in advance). They are paid out and then we pay the new rates. Is this just possible?

The initial agreements must be fulfilled, at least for the duration for which the agreement of receiving swimming lessons has been agreed. This cannot be changed in the meantime. Of course, you can continue to follow the lessons that are still on the card. You do not have to agree to payment. What was agreed upon must be fulfilled. If the agreed period is over, new agreements can be made.
