Rights in case of forgetting to sign - Free advice

Questioner

On Saturday July 14th I forgot to sign out after my shift, my employer decided not to pay me for that day while I was there all day. I tried to send an email and the manager indicated that if you forget to sign out he will not send the employment agency any money and that it is up to the employment agency to send the money anyway if they want. My question is do they have the right not to give me any money and a written warning for forgetting to sign out? And what can I do about this?

That is not nice of the employer. An employer may take action if you forget to sign. This action must meet the requirements of reasonableness and fairness. You can enforce this. An employee who performs work through an employment agency is entitled to wages from the employment agency. You must therefore obtain your rights from the employment agency. So you don't have to simply accept this. If you wish, you can contact us without any obligation.
