Legal Advice on Company Housing

Questioner

Where does the Civil Code state in which part of a company building you must work in order to be able to live in a company home? We have lived in a company home for 41 years, which is separate from the company premises. We built the company premises and home ourselves. We worked in it for 25 years. There has been a tenant there since 1996, who went bankrupt in 2012. The building has been empty for 3 years. Now it has been rented out in parts for 2 years. Now the municipality says, that we are no longer allowed to live here, because we no longer work in the building. We rent out the building and live next door. Our daughter also rents a part of the building, in which she runs her company. She would like to live in the service house. Now the municipality does not answer, for which part you have to work in the building, to be able to live in the company house. Do you know more about this? Can you help us with this?

That is correct what the municipality says, for your daughter it might be different but the conditions for living in a business premises is the same owner of the company next door. See the zoning plan for this exactly.
