Legal assistance in recovering money

Questioner

On 26-4-2017 I had a repairman from a Witgoedcentrale at home. He came for my dishwasher, indicated that the repair would be very expensive and indicated that they could deliver me a new dishwasher. The repair costs would then be waived. I paid €150,- in advance and waited. The machine was not delivered on the agreed day twice, each time with a vague excuse. I then cancelled the order. This meant that I would have to pay the repair costs of €69,- and that I would then receive €150 - 69 = €81,- back into my bank account. In the meantime, I have made about 10 phone calls and made promises, but after 3 months I still have not received the €81 back. What is the sensible thing to do now?

If the possibility of cancellation is included in the conditions, the agreement is dissolved. This results in an obligation to undo, with which repayment is enforceable by formal notice. If you wish, you can contact us without any obligation.
