Dear Sir/Madam, We were able to find a buyer for our mobile home after about two months. The campsite owner informed me that the buyer must first have an introductory meeting with him. This is to know who will be staying at the campsite. After this conversation, the buyer called me and said that he was not allowed to buy the mobile home because he did not have a partner and his children were not going with him. I think this is an unfair reason, because there are many people staying at the campsite without children or a wife/husband. We cannot have a decent conversation with the campsite owner, because he always starts with a defensive attitude and says: 'this is my campsite'. He also instructed us to remove our ad on Marktplaats. These are his words: Would you like to remove the caravan from Marktplaats. The cheaper caravans/chalets on Marktplaats attract visitors who we do not allow on our campsite. My question is: can the buyer be rejected for that reason? If not, what can I do next?Lawyer
The campsite owner is afraid that the buyer will buy your caravan to live in it (temporarily). The buyer may have indicated that he recently got divorced. This real reason is a valid one, but you should also be notified. Whether you also have to remove the caravan from Marktplaats depends on what you have agreed with the owner. Do Recron conditions apply? These additionally regulate what should happen in the specific situation of sale and transfer of rights and obligations.Neem de volgende stap
