Legal assistance with debt collection and contract problems
Questioner
Hello, Since April, in addition to my studies, I have been working independently as a personal trainer, using the facilities of a gym for a license fee. I had a very bad experience with my first client. He signed a contract in April for a year of personal training, for which he should pay €286 per month. So far he has not paid anything. As I was just starting out, I was not familiar with direct debits. I thought I had set this up via my business banking, but it later turned out that I had accidentally transferred €286 to this customer myself. My bank told me that I could only get the money back by asking them, my bank could not arrange this for me. At this moment the amount he should pay has increased to €1287 and he still hasn't paid. He also blocked me everywhere, which forced me to go to his house. He only opened a window saying it wasn't convenient. I then sent him another invoice where he could see all the amounts he would have to pay clearly. I received a very nasty email in response. He called me a scammer, I could forget about the money and I should not dare to come to his house again. This really shocked me. I now do not know what further steps I can take.Lawyer
Good day. Your debtor apparently needs a push in the back to make payment. I could open a file for you, in which I summon him to pay the amount due, terminate the agreement on your behalf (if you want that of course) and claim replacement damages for the remaining months of the agreement. Depending on the response that follows, we can discuss going to court. When you contact me we can discuss things in more detail. Of course without obligation.Neem de volgende stap
