Legal advice on car insurance

I paid too much for my car insurance for 2 years because when I bought another car my insurance company did not include my claim-free years. I found this out last month after buying a second car. Now my insurance company does not want to pay out all the overpaid premium, even though they admit their mistake. Are they right or am I right?

If it is very clear that the insurer has made mistakes and this is their fault, then you are in the right. Without knowing the full details, I advise you to put the insurer in default to still repay the overpaid premium.
