We had the house inspected and the report stated that the wall and floor tiles in the bathroom were loose and that there was water under the tiles. The seller said that he did not know that. The seller has paid a meager amount of the agreed purchase price. The actual transfer of the house is half a year later. Can I, after signing the provisional purchase agreement, hold the seller liable for the consequential damage if he leaves the situation in the bathroom untouched?
