Questions about inheritance tax and sale of parental home?

Questioner

We are selling the parental home that we inherited after the death of our parents. Which of the children signs the preliminary purchase contract in this case? Is that the one who has contact with the real estate agent, or do all the children (who are equal heirs) have to sign? Does that also have to be done at the notary, or only the final purchase contract? Can a scan or photo of the signed contract be sent, since the children do not live nearby? Can you specify in the (provisional or final) purchase contract to which account the purchase price will be transferred? There is an inheritance account that is managed by one of the children.

Lawyer

Because the children are joint owners, they will all have to sign the purchase contract and the deed of transfer. If necessary, a power of attorney can be drawn up so that it does not have to be signed personally by people who live further away. This power of attorney will then have to be legalized by a notary. If, in due course, all the children request the notary to transfer the proceeds to a joint account, the notary can transfer the proceeds to that account.
