Applying for unemployment benefits after bankruptcy: tips

My healthcare company has gone bankrupt. I will continue working until January 31 and will be paid by the UWV. I work an average of 36 hours a week. I applied for and received a new fixed-term contract but with a maximum of 24 hours. So I am 12 hours short each week. Can and may I apply for a (partial) WW at the UWV for those 12 hours?

I assume that the curator terminated the employment contract on 31 January and that you are therefore entitled to unemployment benefits as of that date. If there is a loss of five or more hours, you will receive unemployment benefits for this. In your case, for the 12 hours. For this, you must continue to apply for jobs.
