I returned a product I bought online to a company. This company said it would refund the purchase price within 30 days, but this still hasn't happened after 7 weeks. Email contact has so far yielded no results. How can I force this company to fulfill their obligation?

First of all, I advise you to keep any documents that can prove that you have returned the product. These can serve as proof that the product has actually been returned. Since the e-mail contact has not yielded any results, I advise you to send a notice of default as a next step. This is a letter in which you give the other party a reasonable period to meet their obligation. You can find examples of a notice of default on the internet. I advise you to send this letter by registered mail. If repayment is still not made within the set period, the other party is in default. You can then take further legal action.
