Question about WW and trial placement? Get free advice!

Questioner

I have been on unemployment benefit for 4 months. I have been working voluntarily for 4 days in a company. The boss in question has applied for a trial placement at the UWV and has already received approval without the UWV informing me. It seems that he has had people on trial placement before and is abusing it. He knows someone at the UWV who immediately agrees to this and in short, I think there is some collusion going on and I would rather refuse this job because I have no confidence in this employer. Is this allowed without jeopardizing my unemployment benefit?

Lawyer

If you stop this, there will be no consequences for your unemployment benefit. You are entitled to it based on your previous work. In principle, you cannot claim unemployment benefits after a trial placement.
