Why You Need to Know About Flight Ticket Change Fees

I bought a plane ticket and wanted to change it. The letter shows 3 payments. Change of airline costs price difference Administration costs. I just find economy class plane tickets that differ by only 100 euros. While they only give me 170 and above because I am apparently in the lower class of economics. Do I have to pay the 'class difference' or do I have the right to exchange it for the ticket I want? Email really only states the price difference.
