Liability of travel organization

I would like to organize a trip for friends and other interested parties to the place where I lived for a while. I wonder to what extent I am liable in case of problems. Can I insure myself as a private individual for damage to others? So that I can no longer be held liable.

As an 'organiser' you are liable for the damage caused by your 'guests'. You could draw up a liability exclusion and have the 'guests' sign it. You can, however, take out travel insurance and hand this liability exclusion over to the insurer.
