Applying for a neighbourhood ban? Legal advice!

Can we get a neighborhood or street ban for a boy (19 years old) who does not live in our neighborhood but causes a lot of nuisance and openly incites his friends (demonstrably via vlogs on YouTube) to commit crimes such as fighting, speeding (tearing through the neighborhood), carrying weapons (this vlog has already been removed), intimidating and inciting small children (he calls them soldiers), visibly with stacks of money in his hands.Lawyer
A location or contact ban can only be imposed by the CRIMINAL judge as a special condition for a (partly) conditional sentence. This is therefore preceded by a conviction for a criminal offence. By reporting the case to the police, this process can possibly be initiated. Please note: the outcome of this procedure is uncertain and takes a lot of time. For example, the Public Prosecution Service is - in principle - free to decide whether to continue prosecuting a suspect and the judge is free to choose which sentence to impose in the event of a conviction. Possibly the route via summary proceedings at the CIVIL court will lead to more/faster results. You could also consider making your concerns known to the local police officer.Questioner
Thanks for the quick response. Unfortunately, we as residents have been reporting nuisance to the municipality, police and social workers in the neighborhood for a long time (before 2014). A real solution is not found and with these vlogs it is now completely out of hand: battle between police and this group. Now that the vlogs are online (open source) we hope to have a better chance of tackling the group, but it seems as if no one (government related) dares to burn their hands.Neem de volgende stap
