I am on sick leave after my operation and now have to take it easy. I am called weekly by my care coordinator, supposedly to ask how I am doing, but in the meantime she tried to force me to go to work, even though my surgeon doesn't allow me to do that. I am starting to get fed up with it. Can she just do this?Lawyer
In principle, you may be asked about your recovery, but it seems to me highly exaggerated that she does this weekly. I advise you to specifically tell her that you will remain ill for the time being and therefore cannot work for the time being. Make arrangements to call back. If she does call repeatedly, you can discuss the situation with your occupational health physician.Questioner
I have already told her that I will not be working for the time being, but she does not care. She calls on Monday and if I have to go to the hospital that week, she calls again, phew.Lawyer
If consultation with the care coordinator does not yield any results, you can discuss the matter with the occupational health physician. The physician may be able to mediate in this.Lawyer
The employer/manager has the task of being involved in your illness/recovery. In the case of a long-term illness, calling every week is a bit too much of a good thing. Putting pressure on you is prohibited. Sick leave is primarily intended to recover (according to the Supreme Court).. I would follow Biharie's advice. If that doesn't help, I would contact your manager's supervisor.Neem de volgende stap
