Veterinarian Liability: Get Advice in Case of Problems

my cat had to have a caesarean section but had no milk so I had to feed the kittens by hand when I went to get the kittens they gave the mother cat home under complete anesthesia and she died three hours later and now there is also a bill of 430 euros that I have to pay is the vet not responsible for bringing the cat out of anesthesia or something because this is really a ridiculous amount of money without any aftercare after a major operation

Whether the vet is liable, I cannot say without knowing whether the vet actually made a mistake. This should have been made clear by an autopsy. But it seems to me that the vet should have let her come out of anesthesia first, and not sent her home without any aftercare.
