I have a question regarding payments during my illness. This is the current situation: I worked as a temp at a temp agency that works according to the NBBU-cao, and in addition they extend contracts on a weekly basis. I was in phase 2 (temporary employment clause), so that means that in case of illness the contract is terminated and you fall under the UWV. I usually work on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. I reported sick on Monday 30 May and Tuesday and Wednesday and eventually they deregistered me from Friday 3 June. Now I receive a ZW benefit from the UWV. The employment agency itself uses 2 waiting days (so that you do not receive any salary payment on those 2 days). The UWV says in their letter that I am entitled to a ZW benefit from 3 June. So I received a ZW benefit from 3 June to 19 June. (11 days) Now I wonder, am I not entitled to 1 day of wage payment from the employment agency itself? Because they apply 2 waiting days: May 30th reported sick: waiting day 1 so no pay (I normally work on this day) May 31 reported sick: waiting day 2 so no pay (I normally work on this day) June 1st reported sick: no pay (I normally work on this day) June 2 reported sick: no pay June 3 out of service: ZW from UWV actually I should have been paid by the employment agency on June 1st. Because they only deregistered me on June 3rd. Is this correct? Or am I completely wrong?

This seems to me to be the case. But it also depends on when your employer, the employment agency, reported the illness.
