Legal Term Sold Subject to Condition

What is the legal term for sold subject to conditions if it concerns a plot that has been raffled by the municipality? Now there is a period to think about the purchase of the offered land for three months. In this case we are the second option and my question is if that period has already expired how long can be added to the conditional sale. If that is also a number of months and you can still cancel it, I would like to know what time frame this concerns, before we start looking for another plot.
