Yesterday the deed of our house (built in 1996) was passed at the notary in IJsselstein. There is a heating boiler in the house from 2007. Yesterday the mechanical ventilation was cleaned and replaced. The plumber then found that the expansion vessel of the boiler was defective and needed to be replaced. Can I still hold the saleswoman liable for this?Lawyer
Whether the seller is liable will depend on the terms of the purchase agreement. However, you may expect the central heating system to be working and technically sound at the time of the transfer of ownership. My advice is to 'complain' to the seller immediately and in writing and to give her a reasonable period (two weeks) within which she must have the expansion vessel replaced. If this does not happen, it can be considered whether and what steps you can take against the seller.Neem de volgende stap
