Volunteer Honor at a Foundation - Rechtswinkel.nl

Questioner

Thought I had already asked this question, but I can't find it anymore. For a foundation, we want to honor a volunteer (provided support for over 20 years). Now, you can have honorary members at an association. Is this also possible at a foundation (despite the fact that they are not allowed to have members) and if not, what are the possibilities?

Lawyer

You may honor a volunteer for the merits they provide or have provided by means of a gift and an award. Please note that this person does not hold a board position or is not a founder. In that case, additional conditions apply. I have also added a link where you can find a lot of information that can be of use to you as a foundation. If you still have questions, please ask them. http://www.vereniging.nl/Differen- Tussen-een-stichting-en-een-vereniging-3818251.html
