short question: Is a municipality obliged to offer a way to collect the 60L Komo garbage bags? Long description: I live in Veenendaal and very recently the municipality has made new decisions about the collection of waste. This has caused the underground waste container where I have to offer my waste to go from 60L bags to 30L bags. (this by placing a bracket so that the 60L bags no longer fit, personally I find that rather childish and bullying citizens!). I have a bin in my house that takes 60L bags, if I have to replace it with a 30L bin I will incur costs and can throw away the old 60L (which is still in good condition). (ironically it doesn't fit in the 30L waste container :P) The municipality has given enough other households a grey bin. But I have not received this (probably because I live in an apartment). This means that the municipality currently does not give me any way to offer the 60L Komo garbage bags (that REALLY everyone in the Netherlands uses). So my question is: Are they allowed to do this? and what can I do as a citizen to solve this problem? Thank you for your attention, and any answer you may have for me! (At the moment I have to save the garbage bags in my garden (I live on the ground floor) because I cannot offer it. I experience that as annoying and as a step backwards in our society)

Yes, the municipality can decide this. You can always object to a municipal decision as a citizen within the period stated for this or file a complaint about it. Of course, this does not provide any clarity. If you would like further help and/or advice, please feel free to contact me.
