Home Insurance and Damage Claims: Your Rights
Questioner
I have a home insurance policy for a house that was recently sold. Because there is still a claim pending on that insurance, the insurer cannot/does not want to cancel the insurance. I understand this. What I do not understand is that the insurer does not want to make the insurance premium-free. The insurer therefore receives a premium while there is no longer any risk for him. Is this correct?Lawyer
No, not as you put it. You can even get the premium back, that is your legal right. On what grounds (conditions) does the insurer rely?Take the next step
