Intrum Justitia reminder: Legal validity and advice

I received a reminder from Intrum Justitia, without any clear reference to what this is about. Only in the name of, but no date, invoice number, etc. Is this legally valid? This way, any company can send a reminder.

Have you given permission for anything? A payment often has to do with an agreement. This is created by an offer and its acceptance (BW 6: 217). Just approach them..
