Service costs - Statutory interest. I had to wait 1.5 years for a foundation to settle service costs, electricity, gas, etc. Finally got 4000 euros back. Am I entitled to statutory interest?

This action is often excluded in the terms and conditions and may be annulled. If nothing is stated in the terms and conditions, the Foundation is in default, but it would be useful if you had first sent a notice of default. After a certain period has elapsed, default will then occur and you could have charged statutory interest. It is not invalid to still send a letter of default and combined default in which you demand statutory interest, but you must set a date in the past when you believe the default occurred.
