Hold contractor liable? Get free advice

Hi, a contractor is putting a new roof on my house. He removed the old roof, did not cover it properly and now my house is flooded. The ceiling in the living room has already fallen down, the laminate is up and now it is also 'raining' in the kitchen. I have not lived there for a year and everything is falling apart. The contractor is insured he says and an expert will come by but it is getting worse and he is not doing anything because it is still raining. I can no longer live in the house because the kitchen ceiling could also fall out. What should I do!!Lawyer
Take photos as soon as possible and send a registered letter to the contractor in which these facts are recorded and in which the contractor is formally held liable for the repair of this damage. If you need help you can always contact me.Lawyer
In addition to the above correct advice: Also give the contractor a period of, for example, 2 weeks to make the house wind and watertight again in any case, to prevent further damage.Neem de volgende stap
