WIA benefits and horse sales: Important information

I have been ill for almost 2 years now and we have now started the application procedure for the WIA. My great hobby was training and riding horses. Because I can no longer do that myself but did have a few young animals in the stable when I became ill, I put them with good riders so that they would still receive a good education and I could enjoy their progress. In the long term, however, it is expected that these horses will be sold at some point. Will this affect my WIA benefit?

The sale of your horses will not affect your WIA benefit, unless this can be considered work. In your case, this is not the case. The proceeds of the sale are part of your assets and such income has no effect on the benefit.
