Questioner
Hello, i have a question! my employer went bankrupt i now receive a ww benefit. now i can come back to him to work via the employment agency. he indicates that he only has 4 days of work for me this week so I will receive unemployment benefits for 1 day. will that be 1 day of my 36 months or 1 week? and how long can I work for him through the employment agency in one go to retain my rights? and if I have worked for 3 months will my unemployment benefit be postponed by 3 months?Lawyer
You actually have 3 questions. The first question is how much Ww-right do you lose with 1 day of work. Is that a day or a week of the 36 months? Answer: if you work 32 hours instead of your old 40 hours, you will receive 1 day of unemployment benefit that week. And that week is a week that is deducted from those 36 months. Question 2: how long are you allowed to work for a temporary employment agency: because there is a bankruptcy, the temporary employment period is not added to your previous contract. Temporary employment is subject to a separate collective labor agreement with separate rules on how many contracts you must have to become a permanent employee somewhere. So you really have to find out (have someone find out). Question 3: main rule for unemployment benefits: if you have not built up any new entitlement - i.e. have worked for less than 26 weeks - your old unemployment benefit entitlement will be revived. So if you now work full-time for 3 months and then no longer have a job, you have not yet built up any new rights and your old right of originally 36 months will revive.Neem de volgende stap
