Liability for damage by contractor?

What do you do if you are held liable for possible damage caused by the contractor or by the owners' association of your apartment?

If I understand correctly, your contractor has caused damage for which you are liable. If that is correct, you can recover this damage from your contractor. I do not know whether you have already paid everything to your contractor, but if not, I would postpone that for the time being. You must inform the person holding you liable that it is not you, but the contractor of the VvE that is liable and that you defend yourself more generally against the claim. You can in turn hold the contractor of the VvE liable for the damage for which you are being held liable.
