We have lived in this rental home from ZVH in Zaandam for more than 45 years and are forced to move to a care home. We live on our state pension as our only income. We are obliged to deliver this house completely nail-free. I understand that if you have lived in the same home for more than 45 years, you do not have to deliver it nail-free. The law is clear on this. The home must be delivered in the same way as it was agreed upon when acquiring the home. So if the walls were bare, they must also be delivered bare and in the same way as they were then. Only changes to the home for which permission has been granted by the housing association and which can be taken over by the housing association do not have to be delivered in the old state as it was and normal wear and tear and traces of use are not included in the delivery.
