Webshop Price Error: Are You Entitled to Delivery?

Questioner

I ordered and paid for a sideboard at a webshop for 100 euros. The next day I was called to say that they had put the wrong price on the website and that the sideboard was actually 400 euros. They did not want to deliver it for the price of 100 euros. Now I know that they are in principle obliged to do so UNLESS it was clearly the wrong price (like a plasma TV for 50 euros). I had no suspicions about this price, so in my opinion they should simply deliver for the price I paid. They now indicate that this is not necessary, because the same sideboard costs around 300-400 euros at other webshops. However, I did not look at other webshops; I simply selected a sideboard on their site in the price category I was looking for. So I could not have known that this sideboard should actually have cost more. My question is: are they right with their argument, and do they not have to deliver because other web shops ask more for this cabinet, or am I right and should I just demand that they deliver this cabinet for the 100 euros paid?

If it was an obvious mistake by the webshop, whereby it is clear to you that it is indeed a mistake, then the webshop is right. However, as you state it, you are right because you could assume that the price for such a cabinet is normal. You can thus hold the seller to the purchase agreement of the cabinet for 100 euros. Furthermore, what else is stipulated about this depends on their general terms and conditions.
