Legal assistance with UWV decisions

Questioner

Last month I received a decision from the UWV. It states that I am 69% incapacitated for my own work, and that my employer must find suitable work for me. I had already found some suitable work for which I received approval from my manager after 2 weeks. Now I have had a 'conversation' with my employer, He informed me that I had to stop my project-related work immediately and that I would be immediately reinstated in my old position. In addition - as the employer has announced - they will carry out the track 1 process and see if there is any adapted work available. In my opinion, this goes against the UWV decision. How can I best deal with this? (Besides hiring a lawyer?) Is it wise to file an objection with my employer? Can I refuse, for example, and request modified work?

Lawyer

If you are 69% unfit for your own work, this means that you are fit for the remaining part. Your employer cannot place you completely in your old position, but can place you for that part. In principle, the track 1 procedure must be followed. From your story, I do not immediately conclude that your employer is acting in conflict with the UWV (unless you are placed completely in your old position, temporarily or otherwise).
