Questions about membership cancellations

Hello, I am on the board of an association. We have a website and now I have a question about terminating a membership. I know that it should be clear to members how they can cancel their membership. But should the entire arrangement be on the homepage of the website, or can you also put text there with 'questions about membership', with a link to a separate page with the full explanation? It looks so strange if you promote yourself on a page and then have to set out the entire cancellation policy (what they have to do and what the terms are). Not really inviting and looks so negative. Thanks in advance for your answer!
