My partner's contract is expiring. Now he has received an offer from a company to get the training/driving license C truck driver. He really wants this. He is currently a road paver. Only now we wonder whether you will still receive your unemployment benefit. The training is namely your own time, but the company pays for his training and gives the company a job guarantee. The first three weeks are full-time school and then 2 months of lessons, part-time. We don't dare to call the UWV because that is not anonymous and we do need unemployment benefit for the 3 months that he would be doing this. We prefer to be honest, but unfortunately that is not always rewarded in the Netherlands.
