Sick leave and work: your rights and obligations

I called in sick and they said I had to come to the office. I said I was going to the doctor first. When I got back from there, they called again and said I had to come to the office. I live in Nijmegen, the office is in Eindhoven. That's not possible if you call in sick.

If you have reported sick, you are not able to come to work. Your employer cannot force you to come to work. You will then have to report to the company doctor in due course.
