Health Insurance and Premiums: Your Questions Answered
Questioner
Re: health insurers / basic insurance policy costs. Madam, Sir, We are obliged to take out basic insurance and have to pay a price for it. I see that as purchasing a product and delivery of possible requested healthcare costs. My question is: health insurers spend a fortune (including my money) on advertising through all media to acquire customers, while our premium money is intended for healthcare costs and not for business operations. In this way we are forced to keep the health insurers in business. If they fall short, the premium will be increased. If they want to maintain too high a buffer, then the premium will be increased. If they want to..., then... I think these health insurers cannot go bankrupt, just like in the banking crisis. The policies are becoming increasingly expensive and not only because of the health care costs. We are paying for that due to mismanagement. There is a big difference with other insurance policies, because we are not obliged to take them out. 1. Do we have the right to receive only what we buy? In this case, insurance that covers our healthcare costs? 2. Should we allow these health insurers to gain more and more power? Please respond so I can hopefully adjust my thoughts on this. Yours sincerely, RLLawyer
You are required to take out basic insurance. The content of that insurance is determined by the government and you therefore have no influence on it.Neem de volgende stap
