Health insurance and double insurance in the Netherlands

Questioner

hello I have a question about health insurance I have been living in Germany for a year now and work part-time in the Netherlands (18 hours per week). I am insured in Germany with AOK, but I also have to take out insurance in the Netherlands (with Menzis) because I work there. I have now asked Mezis what the AOK has declared to Menzis over the past year. that is nothing, but I pay Menzis 1100.00 euros per year but I do not use their services because everything is reimbursed by the AOK. The AOK also reimburses costs abroad, which is what every health insurance company does. So I am doubly insured and I see the Menzis premium as a sponsorship. the dutch government requires me to take out dutch health insurance, but I don't think you are allowed to have double insurance and it is certainly a waste of my money (and also of my daughter and son-in-law who also live in germany). can something be done about this??? how do I get rid of dutch health insurance???

Because you do not provide sufficient information about your situation, I cannot answer the question. For the answers, please see this page: https://www.svb.nl/int/nl/bdz/Healthcare Insurance/wonen_in_duitsland_en_uw_Health Insurance/ You can also contact the German Affairs Office of the Social Insurance Bank (SVB) .

If you understand correctly you all work in the Netherlands and not in Germany either. So just the Dutch health insurance is authorized.
