Applying for unemployment benefits with a temporary contract?

I have a temporary contract until December 31st. The company is doing badly and it may close earlier. I have a one-month notice period, my employer has 2 months. Am I entitled to unemployment benefits after December 31st or do I still have to be officially dismissed?
