Selling a home after death: Free legal advice

I have obtained the house of my deceased sister through a will, together with my brothers and sisters. The house is encumbered with the right of use by the partner, who has indicated that he will waive this right so that the house can be sold. My sister has appointed me and my brother in her will as administrators of the house. Can we arrange the sale of the house together or does this have to be done together with my other brothers and sisters?

You are indeed the administrator but not the executor of the will. I advise you to make an appointment with the notary for the settlement of the inheritance. That will have to be done because the house is now burdened with a usufruct. The title deed must be changed if the usufructuary gives up the right.
