You are only entitled to unemployment benefits (other requirements aside) if the agreement is correctly formulated so that you are not considered unemployed through your own fault by the UWV. Other important matters include the correct notice period so that the WW applies and you are not left without income for 1 or more months, whether or not you are exempt from work, whether or not you are paid out vacation days, arrangements regarding conditions such as competition and/or study costs.
