Questioner

Due to the relocation of my employer's company, my position as a truck driver will expire and they want to fire me after 9 years of service. Some of the other drivers are hired, including the trucks, by another company. While there are people among them who have fewer years of service than I do. Is this allowed? Together with me and another colleague, they are now in talks with yet another company. Do I have to accept this? Am I also entitled to severance pay?
