Changing working hours without permission?

Can your employer change your working hours without your permission less than a week in advance? This does concern hours above contract hours. I was asked to work extra at the beginning of the week in addition to my regular weekend shifts. Now my manager suddenly decides that he does not want me to work so many hours and therefore cuts part of my weekend shift. Can this be done less than a week in advance?

The employer may only rely on a written clause that gives him the authority to change a condition of employment included in the employment contract if he has such a weighty interest in the change that the interests of the employee that would be harmed by the change must give way to it according to standards of reasonableness and fairness. Since these are hours outside the contract hours, the employer may change them. Even if the change takes place a week in advance.
