My mother wants to appoint guardianship/mentorLawyer

How this can be arrangedLawyer
Through the subdistrict court. For both guardianship and mentorship, a request must be submitted by one of the persons authorized to do so. (Do you want to request this for yourself, mother, or for someone in her environment?) In principle, the judge will only make a decision on the request if he has heard the person for whom the guardianship/mentorship is being established. As a rule, this happens at a court hearing. However, this right to be heard can also be waived. If the judge establishes guardianship/mentorship, he will appoint a guardian/mentor as soon as possible.Questioner
My mother knows that she is going downhill. She has 6 children, 2 of whom have no contact with her. Now she wants to give the two eldest permission that if she is no longer able to handle matters, this will be transferred to the two eldest.Lawyer
Your mother can then file a request for guardianship and/or mentorship with the subdistrict court judge. This may also be done by yourself or one of your brothers or sisters.Neem de volgende stap
