I have been working for the same company for 13 years. Now in January I was really struggling financially. My boss did not want to pay me an advance or holiday pay. I borrowed the money from someone else and was supposed to pay it back on 25-1 but at that time I could not and I tried to explain it to that person and said that I could pay it in installments. Now I just got a letter from my employer that that person has contacted my boss and now they are going to pay the money back with my salary, is that allowed???

No. Certainly not. Your employer should pay your wages to you and not to someone else who claims to be owed money from you.

Your employer may only withhold money from your salary for someone else without your consent if your salary has been seized. For your salary to be seized, a court ruling must have been served on you by the bailiff. If this is not the case, your employer may not withhold this claim from your salary without it and, if you persist in refusing, you will have a wage claim against your employer.
